Masterflex Polishing Products

Masterflex is a cotton fibre material pressed into a densely bonded form that is the basis of the products we produce in Daventry. The unique qualities of this material make it ideal for finishing stainless steel and other high alloys.

Two bond systems provide one with more aggressive stock removal (MTX) than the other (GFX).  Both allow the abrasive grain within the bond to be effective at removing material whilst still delivering a good finish.

Very popular in the following industries where steel alloys are used:

  • Food and drink
  • Brewing
  • Catering
  • Nuclear
  • Aerospace
  • Foundry
  • Boat-building
  • Chemical

Masterflex Mounted Points & Wheels

Masterflex is a cotton fibre laminate in bonded form.  From this we produce mounted points in the same range of size and shape as the vitrified bonding. See more details on the sizes and grades in our brochure below.

Masterflex Sticks

We produce sticks from the same base material as the Masterflex wheels and points. These are popular for smoothing corners and radii plus cleaning blemishes in conditioned surfaces.

For further information on Masterflex products and grades available, see the Masterflex brochure or contact our customer service team for applications advice.
